ITALY AND TRIPOLI.
RUMOURED OCCUPATION. By Telceraph—Press Association—Oonyrteht Rome, September 21. There are evidences that Italy is preparing to occupy Tripoli. Two squadrons are being formed, one, it is bolievcd to act as a safeguard in Tripoli and tho other to safeguard Italian interests in the Levant.

One hundred Tripolitau notables have addressed the Grand Vizier, stating that tho entire population would shed tho last drop of their blood sooner than be crushed by Italy.
Oothor notables demand ammunition and fortifications.
