ARABI PASHA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. September 22, 11.10 p.m.) Cairo, September 22. Tile death is announced of Arabi Pasha, aged 72. The body was interred quietly, before it was generally known that death had occurred. Arabi Pasha, Egyptian soldier and revolutionary leader, acquired a dictatorial power in tho Egyptian Cabinet of ISS2, and his arming of the forts at Alexandria lc<l to a bombardment by the British. Arabi surrendered, was 'tried, sentenced to dentil, but instead of being executed was "banished to Ceylon, where ho lived until 1001. when ho was allowed to return to EgypU
