(From Our Special Correspondents.) Wanganui. September 22.—Fine morning; dull afternoon; rain in evening; clear night and sea. smooth. Fcildinfj, September 22.—Eainy day and eloudy night. Palmorston, September 22.—There was a pretty hard frost this morning. This was followed by dull and threatening weather. Featherston, September 22.—Fine day; passing clouds; southerly breeze. Greytown, September 22.—The weather has now broken, and is beautifully fine again. The storm brought down some giant totara trees ad.iacent to Greytown. Snow was lying on the lower group of hills, and tho aspect was entirely of a wintry nature. Masterton, September 22.—Reporting at 6 o'clock to-night for the previous 24 hours, tho Kov. A. Bodge states:—'Temperature in Bhade, maximum 60dcg., minimum 35deg., mean 47.5dcg.; earth radiation, 28.5deg., being 3.sdeg. frost; earth temperature (Ift. underneath), 50deg.; wind, fresb S.; weather, beautiful day after threo days' cold and storm. Hastings, September 22.—The southerly gale blew itself out during the night. Today was clear and Bnnny. Otaki, September 22.—Fine, but cloudy, with occasional bright sunshine; rainfall to 9 a.m. .015.
