THE PARLIAMENTARY LIBRARY.
Sir,—lt has frequently been remarked of late that Wellingtonians have an advantage over people living in other, parts of New' Zealand in having access 'to this valnablo library. Seeing that many visitors come to Wellington during Christmas holidays, may. I suggest that instead of closing the library against everybody it should then be opened, but only for use by visitors. If this could bo done it would doubtless bo a boon to those whom the fact of non-residenco in Wellington deprives, under present conditions of tho only opportunity they can have.. It would certainly bo an act of consideration that would bo appreciated whilst the exclusion of Wellington residents would make but a slight demand upon but ono or two members of the staff—l am, etc., COUNTRY.
