Two-tooth ewes, in lamb, made Bs.:.cull linggets, ss;: springing heifers, £3 15s. to .24 Bs. 6d.; springing cowsi £4 ss. to, £5; empty cows, £3 15?.; mixed yearlings, £1 lis.; bulls, £3 ,63. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., renort:—Tho first of the weekly sales was held at Levin on Friday, and started under favourable auspices. Twenty-two pem of, sheep and 42 pens of cattle were submitted to a large attendance of buyers, "he yarding of-fat sheep and fat' cat'tio was above the usual quality. Olio hundred and twenty fat ewes, >old on account of Mr. C. 0. liigginson, Koputaroa, realised 22.0.17 d.; and 60 wethers, on account of tli» Bamc owner, brought 225. 2d.
