New Zealand championship meetings. The club had also been runnors-up for the. Wellington Association's shield competitions (bbtli classes). Tho club's ladies' handicap tournament for the president's trophy had been won by Miss Williams, tho men's ovent remaining unfinished. Tho membership now stood at 79 e.ctivo member?. Tho Uianks of.tlio club were duo to Dr- Young for a trophy, and to the club ladies who attended to tho afternoon ton arrangements during tho Boasou. Tho following officers wcro elected:— President, Dr. Young; vice-presidents. Dr. Gilmcr, Messrs. A. L. Herclinan, M;P., 11. fieid, C. Watson, T. M. Wilford, M.P., ,1. S. Wilson, and H. P. P. BhmdoUs committee, Misses Francis and Williams, Messrs. A. W. St. John, A. J. M'Caul, ami'T. R. LaVsonj hon. auditor, Mr. G. Shand; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. W. M'Nicol; lion. secretary, Mr. C. A.
