By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. September .21, 8.30 p.m.) Melbourne, September. 21. The report of the scientific expedition which has beon visiting tho Northern Territory states that tho health of the European population in the Territory is remarkably good. Families in fho sreond generation show no signs of physical deterioration, and residents of four decades in this tropical quarter of Australia compared favourably with people elsewhere. Malaria was endemic in the mining centres, but this was duo to insanitary conditions, which can be remedied. . No part of the country is carrying stock (o its full capacity. Tick infection is genoral, bnt tho cattle- seems to possess sufficient immunity. The natives in the vicinity of the settlements are mostly demoralised.
