DOMINION DAY.

CADET REVIEW AT NEWTOWN PARK. Owing to tho fact that all arms and equipment for the territorial forces have been called in, there will be no paradeof adult troops in the Wellington district on Dominion Day. Arrangements are, however, in train (or parade of the senior and junior cadet battalions at Newtown Park. .District ordra-s by Colonel E. XV. C. Chaytor, Officer Commanding the Wellington District, include the following announcement with reference to the cadet review on Monday next:— "Tho senior cadets in tho Wellington group will tako part in tlio review by his Excellency the Governor at Nowtown Park on Dominion Day, Monday, September 25, at 3.1. r > p.m. For tho purpose of tho review, the following provisional battalion will bo formed:— Officer commanding the senior cadets: Major Mathr-5011. Amokura Cadets. Wellington College Cadets. St. Patrick's Colle R e Cadets. Boys' Institute Cadets, St. Anne's Cadets. St. Vincent Cadets. Further instructions will be issued by Major Matheson. At all other centres tho senior officer will co-operate with the local authorities in any celebrations that may be arranged. 'lhe above battalion will concentrate at tho Garrison Hall at 2.15 p.m. on Monday, and march to the Park, where it will bo drawn up in review order to the right of the junior cadet battalions. Tho evolutions to bo carried out will include tho march past after the official inspection by his Excellency tho Goveninor, followed by the advance in revieworder. Then will follow tho speeches, a salvo of cheers, in hoi\our of the occasion, and tho dispersal. Given , a fine day, tho review should bo well worth witnessing. The senior officer iu charge of the parade will, it is understood, bo Major T. W. M'Donald, Commander of the Junior Cadets.
