Y.M.C.A. BOYS' DEPARTMENT.
$ j At tho last meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Hots' Department, Mr. Moore, of the Milton V.M.C.A. addressed tho lads. He spoke on "Boy? of the Bible," and was exceptionally'' interesting, i«s well as helpful. Next Friday Mr. 11. N. Holmes is to bid farewell to" the lads, when it is hoped a large number will be present. For tho purpose of encouraging boys to show a friendly feeling towards their athletic rivals, the sixth-class have invited, for Saturday evening the six-class of the llovs' Institute to spend a social time at the" Y.M.C.A. The annual cricket meeting will take place on Friday. The intermediate night, apart from the juniors, is proving a success. The total attendance at tfio rooms during August readied 1025. On Fridav, October (i, through the kindness of West's Pictures, tho boys' department is to have a benefit night at the King's Theatre. The cadet corps has now pot into £.ull swing, ami is drilling every Thursday evening. The Bible clnsses are very well attended on Wednesdays, Fridays. and Sundays. The Saturday 'night bullet seems to be a great success.
