HUTT COURT.
A sitting of the Lower Hutt CouTt yesterday was presided over by Messrs. G. A. Chapman and A. G. Lies, J.P.'s. For allowing eattlo to wander, Georgo W: Williams iras fined 10s., with costs 9s. Prohibition orders were issued against William Ilendley, William A. Samnions, and William Summer. The Hutt Valley Tramway Board proceeded against the following ratepayers for arrears of tramway rales ami obtained judgment:—Patrick M. M'Grath, 75., costs 55.; John Bowler, 3s. 5d., costs 55.; Win. Baxter, 7s. 3d., costs 55.; F. G. Ilnil, 2s. 7d., costs 55.; Amy Isabell Neil, Is. 8d„ costs 55.; Augustus 13. Walk ins, 2s. Id., costs ss. Judgment was also given for plaintiff in ca.'.'cs as under:—New Zealand Stale Advances Department v. 10. Timmiuj'S, <£13 'Is., costs 155.; Wise and Doeblo \\ Mrs. .I. Mcxlcd, ,£1 Is. (id., costs 55., and solicitor's foe 15s. (id.; same v. Finest Edward Pay. .El l.'ls. 7d„ costs life.
In (lie defended action F. K. Brvan v. Walter Kilkolly, claim .£1 Its. Gd.,' judgment was given for plaintiff for defendant admitted that liability, ami no costs were allowed.
