| (Specially written for The Dominion.) aromu". Scotch Broth. Toad in the Hole. Potatoes. Cabbage. Spice and liaisin 'Pudding. SLICE AND EAIKIN PUDDING, '['en ounces bread crumbs, f>oz. ilour, 12oz. suet (chopped), lib. raisins (stone), 'lb. Demarara sugar, I'.oz. candied peel (cut up), 1\ teaspcDnfuls inix«l spiec, grated riiul of 1 lemon, 3 eggs, V. gills of millc. A piurh of salt. ,Sweet melted butter sauce. Put the breadcrumbs,' flour, suet, raisins, sugar, candied peel, spice, lemon rind, and salt into a basin; and mix them together. Beat up the eggs, odil the milk, and stir them into the dry ingredients. Put the mixture into <1 greased pudding-basin, cover with greased paper, and steam for four hours. Turn out and servo with sweet melted butter sauco. FOR TO-MORROW. Three pints of good stock, 6 or 71b. corned beef, suet, carrots, turnips, cornflour, fruit for stewing.
