Three by-elections havo taken place for the North Brisbano, Toowong, and Rosewood seats in the Legislative Assembly. The seats wero previously held by Ministerialists, and tho elections have resulted in tho return of threo Ministerialists, Messrs'. Welsby, M'Artney, and Stevens, by good majorities over the labour candidates. Mr. Cottell, the late member for Toowong, died, and M'Artney resigned the North Brisbano seat to contest Toowong.
