$. FIRST GRADED CONSIGNMENT. (By Tclceranh.—Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, September 15. The first consignment of butter graded at Wanganui was dispatched this morning, at Castlecliff, where tho. Wanganui Freezing Company has niado complete arrangements for tho storage of butter and olioesu. It is expected tlrat most of tho factories in this district will fciko advantage of this port in forwarding their output to tho London market. Tho Fntea grader will bo at Castlecliff twice weekly, but it is expected that it will not bo long before it is found necessary to havo a man working full time. Yesterday's heavy gale rajsed tho heaviest E-ea on tho Wanga-mri bar that has been seen for years. A wind is still blowing, and, though tho sea has moderated; it. is doubtful if the steamers in port will lw able to get away to-night.
