HOSPITAL AFFAIRS.
Th? monthly meeting of the Hospital Committee of tho Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held at the hoard's room at the hospital yesterday afternoon. The chairman (Mr. R. C. Kirk) presided. Also present: Messrs. Baldwin, Godber, Trevcr, Tompsjtt, London, Moore, Gardner, and the Key. Messrs. Van Stnveren and Evans.
The chairman stated that Mrs. Alr.-ir Williams had raised a subscription amongst friends, and had presented a splendid graniaphone and a number of records to the Victoria Hospital. A vote of thanks was accorded the donor?.
The following recommendations of tho House and Finance CcmmiUeo were adopted:—"That leave of absence be granted to Drs. Hardy, Webster, and Holmes, members of the honorary medical staff, who are at present attending the Australasian Medical Conference in Sydney. That no alteration in Hie present apportionment of the representation of the board is required. That a iypislo be appointed, and her services be used by the medical superintendent, house steward, matron, and dispenser in regard to correspondence. That provision be made on next year's estimates for purchasing a motor ambulance for the Wellington hospital district."
