LAD'S HAND CUT OFF. (By ToloEraph.—Press Association.) Napier, September 14. A lad named' Frank Bennett, aired 17, son of Mr. E. W. Hennett, baker, of Tarn, dale, met with a serious accident at HolCs mill this morning. Ho was working at tho circular saw clearing the timber after it liad been sawn, lie passed his loft hand over to adjust tho gaugw and his hand slipped, coming down on the 'rapidly-re-volving saw and was severed at' tho wrist.

OFF snip's GANGWAY. Auckland, September 13. ChaTles Neville, aped 21, a boilermaker, who was working on the steamer Rarawa at Onehuuga, slipped 011 the gangway, fell into Uie harbour, and was drowned.
