Advice-received by the local agente (or the Now Zealand Shipping Company states that R.M.S. Rotorua arrived at nobart, from London, yesterday morning—a day ahead of schedulo time. She was eipected to continuo her journey to Wellington at daybreak this morning, and, given fine weather, will arrive ill port on Monday morning. RUAHINE LEAVES MONTE VIDEO. Cable advico received by the New Zealand Shipping Company intimates that the Ruahine, which left Wellington on August 24, for London, continued her voyage, from Mon to Video on Tuesday, September 12. She is duo at the Home port on October 5. WHAKARUA IN PORT. Yesterday morning the Tyser liner Whakarua. arrived at Wellington from London, via Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, and Napier, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf No. 1 south. Her voyago out was uneventful. The average speed maintained throughout the passage was 12.7 knots per hour. Tlio vessel is now under the command of Captain A. H.. Kemp, his other officers being:—Chief, Mr. P. Reynolds; second, Mr. J. R. Sawbridge; third, ICr. C. 11. Purkis; fourth. Mr. J. Duder; midshipmen, Messrs. A. R. Payne and 0. E. Spencer. Good weather favoured the Union Compony's Manuka, for the iirst two days out from Sydney to Wellington, thence strong winds and sea from the westward until Cook Strait was entered. The vessel then experienced fine weather until arrival.
