London, September 12. Tho Imperial Cricket Conference has approved of tho Board of Control's .arrangements with regard to tho triangular and* county matches with the colonials. It was decided that it would be inexpedient to grant Warwickshire's (the champion county) claim to a test match at Birmingham. The conference'■ changed tho date of tho Anglo-Australian test at the Oval from August 22 to August 19, to allow tho match to be played to a finisL TASMANIAN VISIT PROPOSED. (By TelesrraDh.—Press Association./ Christchurch, September 13. Tho annual meeting of. the Canterbury Cricket Association decided last evening to recommend the Now Zealand Cricket Council to defer negotiations with the Tasmanian cricket authorities for a visit from tho Tasmanian team until it was ascertained whether Queensland intends sending a team this season. Several speakers expressed the opinion that New Zealand cricket would not benefit by an interchange of visits with Tasmania, as New Zealand cricket, had progressed, and .was now better than Tasinanian cricket. A meeting of tho "Kangaroos" Cricket Club will be held at the New Occidental Hotel this evening. ;
