His Excellency tho Governor will open tho twenty-third annual exhibition of tho New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts on Satirrdny, October 7. Artists and carriers are notified that the time for receiving exhibits has been extended till 10 a.m. on Monday, September 25, after which no works will be received. All heavy cases must bo delivered on Saturday, September 23. There are indications that the exhibition will be a largo and representative one.
