CHEMISTS' RE-UNION.
Yesterday the annual football match between tho wholesale and retail chemists was played, and resulted in a win for the wholesale team by 14 points to 5. In the evening the teams and their friends met at the Hotel Windsor, where a smoke concert was held. Mr. W. Larkin presided over a happy gathering. The following toast-list was honoured:— "Tho King"; "The Wholesale Trade," proposed by Mr. W. H. Coy, and responded to by Mr. Larkin; "Retail Trade," proposed by Mr. Hoops, and responded to by Messrs. L. M'Kenzio and Mce; "Winning Team," proposed by Mr. Sandman, and responded to by Mr. Campbell; "Losing Team," proposed by Mr. Larkin, and responded to by Mr. -Eyan; "Parliament," proposed by Mr. T. Johnson, and responded to by Mr. A. L. Herdman, M.1 , .; and "The Chairman." Items in an enjoyable musical programmo >wero 'contributed by Messrs. Miller, Meredith, M'William, Mee, and others.
