NOTICE is hereby ■ piven that at a Spoci.-.l Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on the 7th day of September,' 1911, tho following Resolution was passed :— The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following Bylaw under and by virtue of and in exercise and in pursuance of tho powers and authorities vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, lOilS," and "Tho Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1O0S," and their amendments, and of nil other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf. The Short Title of this By-law shall be "The Wellington City By-law No. 11 (Abattoir), 1911." Tho objects and purport of this Bylaw are:— 1. To regulato the working and management of the AVcllingtou City Abattoir. _ 2. To conscrvo public health, safety, and convenience, and prevent nuisances. 3. To proscribe the charges payable for the use of the abattoir, tho housing and feeding of stool; Irefcre slaughter, and the slaughtering and dressing of stock. L To regulate the fale of meat in the City, and to provide for the licensing of meat vendors in the City, and the regulation, control, and inr.pEction of tho meat supply of tho City. 5. To provide for the payment of charges fixed by the said By-law.
