Moiers. Dalfccty and Co., Ltd., report on their Waikanae sale held yesterday 3.5 follows:—Tho sheep entry consisted wholly of hoiiccts and fat owes. There was a medium entry of cattle, ivhirli sold well lip to late rates. We ouote:—llogpets. up to 14?. Bd.; fat ewes, 19.?. Cattle: 12-month steers, 275. Cd.; dairy cows in milk, up to £5 55.; 12month Jersey cross heifers, £3. . Messrs. BalßC'y and Co. report:—At our Marlon Sale yesterday there was a failentry of sheep. Medium wether lionets, 125.; aged ewes and lambs, lis. 6d„ lis. Bd.; mixed aged do., 14s. 9d.; four-tooth wethers to 15s. Messrs. Abraham and Williams report:— At Waikanae yesterday we had a- good yard inff of sheep and cattle. With the exception of one pen of sheep and two or three dairy cows we were successful in placinu the whplc entry at prices on a par with other centres. Quotations:—Fat wethers, 205.; hoggets, lh=. 4d. to 12s. 3d.; cull hoggets, 65.; mixed two-tooths, small, 12s. 2d. to 13s. 10d.; store ewes, 75.; three and 3£-ycar bullocks, £6 2s. 6d.; 15,moiith steers, £3 155.: 2-yc.ir steers, £4 HV=. to £4 155.: empty heifers, £3 to £3 55.; heifers in calf. £3 14s. to £4 2s. 6d.: mixed weaucrs. 6d. to 375. 6d.; store cows, £2 ss. to £3; draught filly, £25; draught gelding, £22 10s. . The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd.. report that at their monthly sale at Waikanae yesterday there was a, fair yarding, which was cleared at satisfactory prices to vendors:—Hoggets, 9s. Id. to 12s. 6d.; cull hoggets, 7s. Ed.; f.f. wethers, 17s. 9d.; yearling steers, 395.; yearling heifers, 5Cs.; dairy cows, £5 to £5 12s. 6d. Mr. Newton King's weekly stock report is as follows:—On Friday, September 1, I held a. clearing sale at Itahotu ou account ot the estate of the late J. Kothcry. when there was a large attendance, and although a large portion of the cattle were old and in poor condition, good prices were realised. Early calvere in good condition, £7 ss. to £14; later, £4 to £6 155.; old and empty, £2 ICs. to £4; springing heifers, £5 ss. to £8 ICs.; in calf heifers, £3 7s. 6d. to £4 165.; bulls, £3 7s. 6d. to £7; mixed yearlings, 395. 6d.; light fillies, £5 ss. to £6 Sundries sold at usual rates. At mv usual fortnightly sale at Urenui on Monday, September 4, thero was a good yarding, especially of young, cattle. Yearling steers were in good demand and sold well, as also did a lino of hogget'-. There was no inouiry for poor heifers or cows. At Stony liivcr on Wednesday there was a good yarding with a fair attendance of thc public.
