The final for the Nordon Cup is to be played bottfecn the hockey .representatives of Manawatu and Thames, and, as the latter owe Manawatu, a, visit, it is proposed to nsk. tho : northerners to, play the match in Palmerston, failing which the New Zealand Hockey Association will bo asked to say where the game'shall bo played. MANAWATU LADIES/ TEAM. At a meeting of the executive of the Manawatu Hockey Association last night, hearty votes of thanks, were passed to Mrs.' Mellish, who. chaperoned the Manawatu ladies' team in IVellington, and to Messrs., AV., Crump and. C. H. Warden, who.acted as manager and coach to tho team respectively. Much satisfaction was expressed at the fine stand made by tho team during, the tournament.
