THEFTS FROM THE LOUVRE.
A RUSSIAN ARRESTED. By Telegraph—Press Associa tion—Copyrisht Paris, Scptembor 10. A well-known Russian writer named Hostrowisky has been arrested in connection with the Phoenician statuettes recently stolen from the Louvre, and restored through a Paris journal, which Hostrowisky represented, after negotiations with the police. It is belioved that Hostrowisky is also connected with tho disappearance of Leonardo da Vinci's picture, "La Gaconda."
