September 9: The weather is still line, with a N.E. wind blowing cold. Tho roads have all dried up nicely. Wangauui, Soptcmber B.—l'inc, summerlike weather. Carterton, September B—Fino weather prevailed, ou Saturday, the early-morning atmosphere being very cold. At times tho sky was overcast. Feathcrston, September 9.—Bright, fino day; N.W. breeze. Shannon, September B—Fine and breezy. Otaki, September B.—Fine, with bright sunshine.
