In the hemp grading the totals were :— Fine, 136; good fair, 1890; fair, 2992; common, IS3; rejected, 29 j condemned, 1. Tho Wellington total of 2167 bales was graded as under:—Fine, 70j : pood fair, 811; fair, 11-41; common, £S; rejected. 21. Foxton contributed 20SG bales, made up as under;— Fine, 8; good fair, 018; fair, 1383; common, 70; rejected, 4. Picton put forward a total of 271, of which 54 bales were graded fair and 217 good fair. The "Wellington total to the tow offering was 504 bales, Of this 96 bales were first grade, 293 second grade, 112 third grade, and 3 were condom'led. The Foxton total of 415 was made up of 185 first grade and 230 second grade. Only 19 bales came forward from Blenheim, and all were first >rrade.
