AUCKLAND PROSPECTS. . Cnrrcsoqmlent.) Auckland, September 6. In many respects the dairying season has opened auspiciously. The weather has been genial and warm, and tho cows have been coming in well. Dairyroen, howover, are viewing the continued dry weather with concern. Rain is 'wdly wanted to promote the growth of feed, and unle-ss rain oomes soon matters .will become'rather serious in this respcct. All the' factories in tho Auckland province Kave started operations, but owing to tho dry weather it will bo some timo before they are in full swing. The butter now being manufactured is practically all required for local consumption, none as yet being put aside for export.
