The annual football match between mj. prosentatives of G. Thomas nud Co., Thompson Bros., Townscnd and Paul, N.F.C., and Griffith ami Co. against Laery and Co., Ltd., was played on-Mon-day at Athletic Park", and was won by the combined team by 20 points (six tries, ■ one converted) to 13 points. Cunningham scored four tries and Wintered and Standen ono each for tho winners, whilst Lennox kicked n. penalty goal and converted tries scored by Evans and Newson for Laory's team. Tho Challenge Cup, which was lield bv Laery and Co. a team, is possessed by tho combined team for this season. AUCKLAND'S OTAGO FIFTEEN. (By Telcgrabh.-PrcßS Association.) Duncdin, September 5.
