Referring to the resignation some weeks ago of Mr. Neilsen, Minister for Lands, Mr. M'Gowen, the Premier, who has just returned from England, declares that he did not think Mr. Neilsen's policy regarding the freehold was wrong. Tho methods adopted by people who had previously obtained land in this 'and other countries were inequitable and unjust to posterity. Mr. JN'oilsen had proved ouo of the very host Ministers. On the motion of Iho Premier, Mr. M'Gowen, the House decided ihat the pScaker and the Sergeant-at-Arms bo allowed to plead and that tho AttorneyGeneral be instructed to defend them. The debate on Mr. Wade's censure motion is proceeding, but is quiet and featureless.
