ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
e THE PROPS IN STATE COAL JUNE. MAN INSTANTLY KILLED. (By Telegraph—rress Association.) Greymouth, September 2. A man named Fullock, while inspecting props in tho State mine at Itunanga yesterday, was instantly killed by the props giving way, and a largo quantity of coal burying him. He leaves a wife and family of four. FLAXMILL FATALITY. Palmerston North, September 2. Frank Healey, a single man, aged 35 years, was caught in the intermediate shaft at Jarvis's flaxmill this morning, and killed instantaneously, tho body being terribly crushed. A FIREMAN'S BODY. Dunedin, September 2. Tho body o£ John Deuliolm, a steamer's fireman, aged thirty-six, was found lloating in tho Otago Harbour this morning. Apparently lie was dTowned on July 21. Ho was a married man, and had been employed on the steamer Pukaki.
