TUB PERMIT ASKED FOR. The Socialist party ilitl not hold a meeting at tho corner of Dixon Street ami Culm Street last evening, but at 7 p.m. Comrade Freeman mounted a stand Ijlaeod ill Dixon Street extension, near Little Taranaki Sireat, and began to deliver an address.
