One of the moot successful "socinls" and dancer ever held in the I/iwer Hutt was that which took place last night ii\ St. James's Hall. There were fully oighiy con])les in attendance, visitors bonier prepent from Wellington, Kaiivarra, and Upper Hull. During the eveninir songs wero contributed with much suitow- by Miss Clausen, .Miss .lamioson, Miss 0. Sullivan, and by Messrs. ISridgor and Hendry. The M.C.'s were Messrs, K, Bates ami fi.
