MINERS FIGHT POLICE

Fifteen hundred miners in Montigny, in Pas do Calais, demanding chcap food, stoned a baker, and'iwrecked liis shop. Tho baker fired, killing a youth. The rioters attacked tho police, wounding three. They were dispersed on the arrival of the military. A thousand rioters at Saint-Quentin wrecked the market place, and poured petroleum oil the produce.
