The Ministerial private secretaries had a pleasant supper together last night in ono of tho side rooms at Bellamy's, in order to welcome back three of their number—Messrs. J. Hislop, F. G. ,M : ' thews, and E. N. G. Ponlton—who had been to England with their chiefs. Mr. IV D. Thomson and Mr. W. Crow made appropriate speeches. The guests and Jtr. W. T. Gordon (who has had strenuous days as private secretary to tho Actin<r-Primo Minister) wove heartily toasted. To-morrow, Friday, Messrs. Abraham and Williams will yell at their saloynrds.
