Mr. W. D. S. Macdonnld, M.l', for Bay of Plrnly, is seriously ill. For some time Mi\ Macdonald has been Buffering from neuritis, and shortly alter ho spoke in the llouso on Tuesday evening he had to receive medical attention, \csterday mornine, Mr. Macdonald was removed to a private hospital, and his illness has 4'inco been diagnosed as <!uo to appendicitis. S. Purdy, his younger brother, will be president of Public Health Section at the same congress.
