BISHOP GORE TRANSFERRED.
(Rec. August 29, 11.5 p.m.) London, August 29. It is officially announced that tho Bishop of Birmingham (Dr. Gore) will be transferred to the .See of Oxford, rendered vacant by tho death of Dr. Paget. Dr. Gore was formerly connected with Oxford, having been educated at Balliol (scholar). Ho was also <i Fellow of Trinity College and librarian of Pusey Library.
