CADETS AND SCOUTS.
A well-attended meeting of senior cadet, junior cadet, and scout officers was held at the Boys' Institute on Thursday night, when tho programme for tho tournament, to b9 held on tho Basin Reserve on Trafalgar . Day, was discussed. Thore are to bo many items to interest members of the various units of tho district, .these items including competitions in all classcs of cutlet and scout work. Major-General Godley is to be asked to accept the. position of patron. A c-omplete list of events will be issued to the units interested in the course of a few days.
