RUNAWAY MOTOR BUS.
1. TEN IjERSONS KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. August 28, 0.30 a.m.) , London, August 27. A motor charabanc was conveying thirtychoristers near Consett, in Durham, when the brakes failed, and the conveyance dashed downhill at a terrific pace. It collided with a tree, and five men and five women were killed, whili two girls lio in a precarious state. The remainder of the passengers are injured. .
