A passenger train on tho Lehigh Valley Railroad jumped tho track, and two cars rolled over an embankment, falling sixty ftfet into a creek. Thirty persons wero killed and sixty wero injured. All the occupants of tho dining-car wero killed instantly. Many veterans returning from tho Grand Army encampment held at Rochester were among tho victims. Tho train was runni-jg fast to make up lost time, and a defective rail caused the disaster. TRAIN GOES OVER A BRIDGE. New York, August 25. It is reported that a N.ew York Central passenger train went over a bridgo. Many are stated to have been killed. A relief train has been dispatched.
