4 DISTRICT REPORTS, (From Our Special Correspondents.) Wanganui, August 26.—Another dull, chilly day. Fcilding, August 27.—Saturday was bitterly cold, with a south-easterly wind and a heavy dull sky- Sunday was also very cold, with a southerly wind and rain, Otaki, August 26.—Sunshiuo. Carterton, August 26.—A Blight fall of rain was experienced la-st night, but the broke fine. The sky was overcast, and rain looked threatening, but held off. Greytown. August 26,-Weathor very cold indeed; thermometer, 41deg. at 9 a.m.; wind, S.E.; rain probable. „ Featherston, August 26.—Du11, cold weather.
