HOTELS AND THE NEW ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.
Sir,—l should like to present another aspect of the question, licensed hotels and the recent altered boundaries, in contrast with what Mr. Myers has publicly declared to bo unjust with all fairminded people. It is nothing of tho kind. Fair-minded people cannot bo expected to look upon such matters through tho bung-holo of a cask. Where theso No-License. areas have absorbed by (he alteration of boundaries portion of a. licensed district, such district has not oven had a baro majority for license. The licensed houses have Leon privileged in contravention to the desires of the majority of tin electors in that district. All tho hotels in tho Dominion are being now endured with a proclaimed No-License majority of thirty-three thousand odd hau ,r ing over their heads.—l am, etc., OBSERVER. August 22, 1911.
