NEWTOWN TENNIS DANCE.
■V very enjovable dance, arranged by tho Newtown Tennis Club, was held in tho New Contun- Hall last evening. The room had been prettily decorated with lycopodium, and with coloured flags, whilo the "reen shades over the electroliers gave a restful effect to the scheme of decoration. The supper tabtes upstairs presented a verv charming appearance, with their arrangements of yellow bulbs, and with] vellow streamers carried from the chandeUts to the corners of each one. Tho chaperon* were Mrsdames licdwnrd, Clarke, Bocko, Gill, and J. P. Rock Bastings, nrd the Messrs. M'brlc-an. D. Kenny, Pi'"lc (2), EHer, Ueiinctt, Gill, Wardrop, Spillsburv, Britain, Dr. Isaacs, and ethers.
