A.meeting of master builders held tonight discussed tho advisability of forming a branch of the New Zealand liuildcrs' federation, but uo action was taken in tho meantime. • lit a hockey match for the Pearson Challenge Shield this afternoon the Post and Telegraph team defeated the holders (St. Matthew's) by 3 points to 1. Loader, Jackson, and K. Williams scored for Post and Telegraph, and Douglas for St. Matthew's. Post and Telegraph were holders until early in the season, when thev were beaten by Kxeolsiar. Yesterday's win allows them to hold tho shield until next season. Tho win was & very popular olio.
