FORECAST AND SUMMARY. Present indications arc for a falling barometer in the north, with high easterly and south-easterly winds, rain, and squally weather. The barometer has a. rising tendency in the south, and Ftroug south-easterly winds, cold and showery weather aro probable, with snow on higher levels. Westerly wind?, changed to southerly generally during Wednesday night, and the barometer rose in the south. A southwesterly pale and hail showers were experienced in Fovcaux Strait.
