(Specially written for The Dominion.) THURSDAY. White fojip. Dry curry- Potatoes. tSpinack, Applo cheese cake. APPLE CHEESE CAKE. Half a pound cooked apples, quarter pound castor sugar, tlirco ounces buttor, one lemon, puflf pastry. Weigh the apples after they have been boiled. Add the sugar, melt" the butter, grato tho lemon rind. Mix the apple?, butter, and lemon over a slow fire. Line some patty pans with pastry, put in some of the abovo mixture, and bako 20 minutes in a quick oven. FOR TO-MORROW. Ealf a pint of split pens (soaked overnight), one pint of whitebait, batter, esrenco of lemon.
