W.F.A. COMMITTEE MEETING, The ordinary meeting of (he Wellington J'ootball Association was hold last evening, Mr. J. J. Roberts presiding. J n connection with the fourtli division representative inalcli, Wellington v. Auckland, letters were rnccivoil from tlio Wellington Lacrosse and Wellington Hockey Associations, granting tho W.F.A. sole usu of the Basin Reserve on Saturday, August 20. The match, is to commence at 3.30 p.m. i A .sot of silver medals for competition among sixth division teams was accepted from Mr. J. V. Andrews, and it was decided that the competition commence on Saturday, August 2G. September 1C was the date suggested by the Canterbury Association for the, Wei-linutoTi-Caiilcriiury lliwn Shield match, to be played at Christchureh. This was agreed to. It was decided to commence the Charity Cup competition on August 26.
