Auckland, CLirisr-. ■ church, Dunedin, Nelson, and Wellington became respectively the bauds to the Auckland Division, New Zealand Gamson Artillery, Auckland the lirst (CallIwlniry) Regiment, Chnslchnrch, tho Fourth Regiment (Otago lhflos), Dmiodin, the Twelfth (Nelson) Regiment Nelson, , aud the Wellinnton Division, New Zealand Garrison Artillery, Wellington. At the end of the currrnt year capitation, for garrison bands as such would cease to be pnid, and the formation of regimental bands on above lines would be carried out The formation of regimental bands was dealt with in Ihe regulations (provisional) for the military forces of tha Dominion, 1911; and it was intended to encourage the formation of regimental bunds for each regiment of mounted riiles, each battalion of infantry, aud ench division of garrison artillery.
