Mr. Batchelor, Minister for External Affairs, and Senator Pcarce, Minister for Defence, who have just returned from London via Russia and tho East, declare that in all their travels they did not see a country where the conditions were so 'favourable as in Australia. Compulsory training was acting as an advertisement.
Senator Pearce denied that the absence of Australian .troops at the Coronation had caused commcnt.
