There was a large and enthusiastic, attendance at the Kaitoke Schoolroom on Friday evening last, the occasion being a send-off for Mr. J. O'Connor, who is leaving tho district owing to ill-health. A presentation was. made by Mr. ]). Sullivan in the form of a. handsome travelling bag. Music was supplied by Mrs. Mnllaglian. and Messrs. Deng, Phillips, Moor, and Coley.
