A CHRISTCHURCH LIQUIDATION

At.a private meeting of the creditors of the Wjholesale Club, Ltd., held to-day a motion was agreed to affirming tha't the creditors were in favour of a voluntary winding-up of the Wholesale Club, Ltd., on the grour.d that delay would be avoided and expense saved by this course. Creditors representing JXOOO supported the motion, as against creditors representing .E2OCO who opposed it. The latter included tho petitioning creditors, whose claims would be about XlOCfl. Considerable discussion ensued regarding the appointment of liquidators, and the names of various public accountants were proposed and rejected in turn. The meeting eventually decided to recommend the chairman. Mr. H. J. Marriiwr, and Mr. Karl Joosten, .public accountant, their remuneration not to exceed 2.V per cent, on the amount of assets in .the" hands of tho official interim liquidator.
