LOSS OF THE FIFESHIRE.
ONE-BOAT PICKED UP. By Tclenraph—Press Association—Ooojrlshl London, August 17. The Glasgow steamer Ardandearg, from Calcutta, picked up tho Fifeshiro's boat in charge of Mr. Woods, the chief officer, on Tuesday last, , in lat. 13 North, long. ■J'J East. In addition to Mr. Woods the boat contained E. Stewart, D. Stewart, Gannon, l['Lean, and Wallace, members of the crew. Tho boat had been driven before gales for .five days. . • It is presumed that sho left tho wreck, manned by members of tho crew, in order to seek assistance. NO WARSHIP AVAILABLE. ! • London, August 17. ' Tho Admiralty regret that no British warship is sufficiently noar Capo Gardafui to participate in the search for the Fifeshiro's missing . boat. ,
